Job Description
Position OverviewMy client is seeking a Safety Manager/Coordinator to join their team and support multiple projects in Northern Virginia. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting site inspections, and fostering a safety-first culture across 2-4 active projects.You will be part of a dedicated safety team of 3-4 professionals and will utilize Vector Solutions software to manage safety programs and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and implement company safety programs across multiple projects.
- Conduct job site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, company policies, and client-specific safety requirements.
- Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for field staff.
- Investigate incidents, develop corrective action plans, and report findings.
- Work closely with project managers and field teams to reinforce safety best practices.
- Maintain safety documentation and reporting through Vector Solutions software.
- Collaborate with leadership to continuously improve safety processes and procedures

The Successful Applicant- 2-5 years of experience in safety management or coordination within construction, utilities, or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
- Experience conducting safety audits, training, and risk assessments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Vector Solutions or similar safety management software preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Certifications such as OSHA 30, CHST, or CSP are a plus.
