About the Company and Role
Our client is a rapidly growing company that specializes in AI-powered accounting automation. They are on the lookout for a Senior Product Designer who is passionate about creating elegant user experiences, thrives on tackling complex challenges, and builds scalable, systematic solutions.In this design-first environment, you will be a key player with the autonomy to shape the entire product experience and the role of design within the company.
Tasks- Gain deep insights into user needs by conducting research, interviews, and usability testing.
- Create intuitive design sketches, end-to-end prototypes, and high-fidelity flows that address customer pain points.
- Define and maintain a scalable, component-based design system to facilitate fast execution and future team scaling.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to translate complex technical architectures into simple, intuitive user experiences.
- Bring creative, innovative ideas to the table, inspired by analogous industries and past experiences, and execute them with excellence.
- Support the development of the company's marketing and branding design language as the product is brought to market.
- 5+ years of experience as a full-spectrum product designer with expertise in user experience research, information architecture, and visual/interaction design.
- Proven ability to build end-to-end prototypes using Figma and other industry-standard design tools.
- Strong systems thinking with an affinity for design systems, consistent use of design patterns, colors, and typography.
- Ability to deconstruct complex problems and craft elegant solutions using first-principles thinking.
- Experience in a startup environment, particularly in the 0->1 phase, with a bias towards quickly launching products and iterating in rapidly-evolving conditions.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with data-intensive applications, engineering concepts, or experience as a software engineer.
