Robert Half is currently seeking an organized and reliable Accounting Clerk to join our client's accounting team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organization to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate financial and administrative operations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare general ledger entries by maintaining records and files.
  2. Reconcile bank accounts by gathering and balancing information.
  3. Maintain financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
  4. Provide accounting support to internal team members by responding to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs.
  5. Act as a liaison for vendors to reconcile any billing inaccuracies.
  6. Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
  7. Resolve account discrepancies by investigating documentation and making necessary adjustments.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is a plus.
  2. Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or Accounts Payable Clerk.
  3. Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
  4. Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software.
  5. Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
  6. Accuracy and attention to detail.
  7. Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
  8. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
