Staff Accountant

We are on the search for a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team located in Torrance, California. The Staff Accountant will be vital in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. This role involves working closely with our accounting team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments.

• Oversee routine tasks such as Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Conduct regular ledger entries and review for accuracy.
• Perform bank reconciliations promptly and accurately.
• Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met, including month-end close.
• Utilize software tools such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to streamline accounting tasks.
• Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures.
• Analyze revenues, commissions, and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis.
• Assist with financial and tax audits.
• Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.
• Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
• Position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of Accounting
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary
• Candidate must be adept at performing Bank Reconciliations
• Familiarity with General Ledger tasks is essential
• Experience in making Journal Entries is a must
• Proficiency in handling Month End Close activities is expected
• Proficiency in using NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP accounting software is needed
• Proficiency in the Chinese (Mandarin) language is required
