3rd Shift Electro-Industrial Mechanic PLC

Work for a Manufacturer in Middlesex County as an Electrician Industrial Mechanic:

Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and PLC troubleshooting.

• Perform Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic related troubleshooting for variety of injection and Blow mold machines along with Downstream equipment such as strappers, wrappers, leak testers
• Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery.
• Replaces or repairs parts on machines such as bearings, filters, cylinders, valves, motors and other electrical parts and equipment.
• Observes and listens to mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble.
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts and examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
• Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments. Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
• Initiates purchase order for parts and machines, lubricates, and cleans parts, start devices to test their performance.
• Required to participate in on-call program and may be required to work additional hours as required.
• Follows all safety rules and procedures and observes the operations to insure a safe environment.
