Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a contract Compliance Specialist (Manufacturing) for our Pharmaceutical partner in Ridgefield, NJ.

The anticipated hourly wage for this position is between $27 and $29. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Summary:

The Compliance Specialist supports Manufacturing by investigating, documenting, and managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) related to production and environmental monitoring (EM) events. This role involves assigning and tracking Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs) and Effectiveness Checks (ECs) to address identified issues.

The Compliance Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams—including Production, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Facilities—to drive efficient problem-solving and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Non-Conformance Report (NCR) Management:

  • Investigate both significant and non-significant NCRs related to production and EM events.
  • Conduct root cause analyses to identify underlying issues.
  • Prepare detailed NCR reports, including causes, impacts, and corrective actions taken.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.

Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA):

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective CAPAs.
  • Ensure CAPAs are clearly defined, actionable, and address root causes.
  • Track and monitor CAPA progress, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation.

Effectiveness Checks (EC):

  • Conduct effectiveness checks to evaluate the success of implemented CAPAs and NCR resolutions.
  • Analyze EC results to determine if corrective actions have successfully prevented recurrence.
  • Recommend further modifications to CAPAs when necessary.

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED with 8-10 years of experience (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field with 5-7 years of experience (preferred).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, or a related field, with hands-on experience in NCRs, CAPAs, and ECs.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards such as GMP, ISO 9001, and FDA guidelines.
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document control software.

Pay Details: $27.00 to $29.00 per hour
