The Marsh Captive Solutions (Marsh) Compliance Officer role is responsible for providing compliance and compliance risk services to support Marsh in Bermuda. Candidate is required to have working knowledge of insurance operations, Bermuda Insurance Code of Conduct, Bermuda Proceeds of Crime Regulations, Bermuda Sanctions Regime, Bermuda Personal Information Protection Act and local (andglobal to a lesser extent) legislative and regulatory environment.This professional role provides specialized support related to Compliance and Regulatory functions, understands the applicable local regulations, monitors local regulatory developments and develops policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.

We will count on you to:
Establish, monitor, manage and review compliance with Bermuda legislative and regulatory frameworks covering Compliance risk areas.
Manage and oversee the Marsh compliance program.
Appointed Compliance Officer, Money Laundering Reporting Officer and Privacy Officer for Marsh.
Maintain suite of Marsh Compliance policies/standards/manuals.
Conduct annual compliance risk assessment.
Provide Marsh Bermuda Compliance Program updates to Marsh Boards and Committees of Boards.
Prepare compliance responses for regulatory filings.
Maintain and enhance the Compliance internal control framework as it relates to the MMC Global Compliance Policies.
Develop and maintain relationships with business leaders and internal/external stakeholders.
Provide guidance to Marsh Bermuda employees on Compliance matters.
Act as the Compliance subject matter expert for Internal Audit and Compliance Monitoring and Testing reviews of Marsh business.
Perform local Compliance training for Marsh Bermuda and other MMC entities.
Other duties as required.
What you need to have:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent with 5+ years experience in a Compliance, Legal or Regulatory position within the insurance industry.
Demonstrated knowledge of applicable laws and regulations governing insurance businesses.
Expertise working with local regulators and ability to influence across both internal and external stakeholders, across all levels of the organization.
Experience managing anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing program for regulated financial institutions.
Experience managing sanctions and politically exposed person programs.
Experience reporting to Boards, Committees of Boards and Sr. Management.
Demonstrated ability to produce results.
Ability to confront conflict and difficult issues in a professional, assertive and proactive manner.
