Aspire Medical Staffing is in search of a dedicated Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality patient care at The Center for the Intrepid. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patients' physical needs and developing tailored treatment plans aimed at enhancing their mobility and overall quality of life.

Schedule:
Work hours are 7:00 am to 4:00pm Monday-Friday. Work week will not exceed 40 hours.
Responsibilities:
- Administer soft tissue mobilization, applying knowledge of mobilization techniques and body physiology.
- Administer traction to relieve pain, using traction equipment.
- Record treatment, response, and progress in patient's chart and/or automated systems.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical conditions and assess their mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that address patients’ specific needs and goals.
- Implement various therapeutic exercises and treatment modalities to achieve desired outcomes.
- Monitor patients’ progress throughout treatment and adjust plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures, expectations, and home care practices.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
- Document all treatment activities and patient responses to maintain accurate and up-to-date health records.
- Ensure safety and compliance with all relevant guidelines and regulations in the delivery of patient care.
- Coordinate treatment with physician and other staff members to obtain additional patient information, suggest revisions in treatment program and integrate physical therapy treatment with other aspects of the patient's health care. Contact referring physicians regarding patient care concerns, as required.
- Perform prevention and wellness activities, education, screening, and promote positive health behaviors.
- Education: Master's degree in physical therapy or Baccalaureate degree in physical therapy for graduates prior to January1, 2002.
- Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license from any U.S. jurisdiction to practice as a physical therapist.
- Experience: Have at least (2) years’ experience providing direct patient care in physical therapy in the United States; experience and proficiency in Sports rehabilitation, manual therapy, and outpatient musculoskeletal rehabilitation is required; amputee rehabilitation is preferred. American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) certification or specialized in orthopedic, manual therapy and/or Sport Medicine Specialist is preferred.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by way of the American Heart Association.
