The Opportunity
This position works out of our Liberty, SC location in the Cardiac Rhythm Management division.
As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats.
Senior Maintenance Technician will perform and provide guidance in preventative maintenance, safety checks, repairs, installations, and modifications on
production equipment. Maintain records on all production machines and equipment. Maintain a data base for maintenancerepairs, work orders and inventory.
Ability to work Second Shift- Monday-Thursday, 5:30pm - 3:30am
What You’ll Work On- Diagnose and perform preventative maintenance (electrical and mechanical) on production equipment.
- Complete changes or modifications to production equipment. Install custom accessories needed to ready equipment for production.
- Purchase needed items for inventory, spare parts and emergency repairs.
- Maintain maintenance software data base in order to keep accurate records and produce equipment reports.
- Conduct daily tooling and equipment set ups as required.
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment. Tear down, inspect and rebuild production equipment.
- Recognize repair items that require outside service and arrange for repair.
- Perform visual inspections of equipment and fixtures.
- Support 5S.
- Train technicians in new and revised maintenance procedures.
- Complete CMMS work orders and preventive maintenance tasks on time per the established schedule.
- Respond to production down issues in a timely manner and communicate status to stakeholders.
- Issue parts to CMMS work orders and maintain an accurate inventory of critical spare parts.
- Assist with production line moves and update equipment records in CMMS.
- Add assets and parts, create PM schedules, transfer assets, and setup users in CMMS. Create change requests to update PM procedures as needed.
- Coordinate maintenance plan and response to complex and longer term equipment repairs.
- Assign PM work orders to technicians and ensure an even distribution of PM work.
- Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS),
- Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
- Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
- High School Diploma / GED
- Technical Diploma- Two year technical vocational training and/or degree in machining tools required.
- OR an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Minimum 4 years Repairing production equipment, including molding presses. Knowledge of PLC (preferred), servo and stepper controls, sensors, lasers and injection molding.
- Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
- Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
- Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
- Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
- Ability to travel (less than 5%), including internationally (only if required)
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Regularly scheduled overtime is a requirement of this position.

The base pay for this position is $20.60 – $41.20 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
