Registered Nurse
Job Summary:
MDVIP Practice Management, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team! Physician Practice setting where you will be responsible to work under the general and clinical direction of our physicians to provide the optimum patient care experience.You will work with the team to deliver direct patient care, collaborate with patients and families, physicians and other members of the health care team.
Qualifications:
- State of Virgina licensed registered nurse
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:
- Triage incoming telephone calls; responds to questions regarding medications and treatment instructions; coordinates telephone request to refill prescription drug medications in accordance with physician’s directions and protocols.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with clinical nursing standards; observes, records, and reports patient’s condition; advises physician of patient’s adverse reactions to drugs and/or treatments.
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
