Quality Inspector - Textiles and Fabrics

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Inspector to join our textiles and fabrics team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and ensuring that all fabric and textile products meet established quality standards before they are shipped or processed further.

Your attention to detail and thorough understanding of textile materials will be key to maintaining our commitment to delivering high-quality products.

salary: $20 - $21 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities
  • Record and document inspection results, quality issues, and corrective actions.
  • Identify defects or irregularities in fabric, such as weaving inconsistencies, stitching issues, and color variations.
  • Work with production teams to resolve quality issues and recommend improvements.
  • Verify that fabric rolls are properly labeled and meet order specifications before shipping.
  • Use a variety of inspection tools and equipment (e.g., measuring tapes, microscopes, colorimeters) to check fabric quality.
  • Maintain and update inspection records, reports, and databases.
  • Monitor environmental factors in the production area (e.g., temperature and humidity) that may affect fabric quality.

Ability to operate forklift / hilo machinary.

The essential functions of this role include:
