Overview:

Obtain vital signs, medication reconciliation and general health information for patient chart and prepares patient for provider visit. Assists the provider as needed with examinations, order placement and arranges for patient testing, procedures and referrals.

Enters and records patient information in patient chart in a concise and accurate manner. Prepares and maintains exam rooms and medical equipment for patient visits. Assists with patient calls, prior authorizations, medication refills, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited program of Certified Medical Assistants/ Registered Medical Assistants or LPN license or NC Paramedic/ AEMT. Prefer at least one year of clinical experience in a physician office setting.
