Medical Assistant III - MA-24-15592

Pay: $22-$25/hour, based on experience

Requirements:

• Local candidates only
• MA certification and BLS required
• 4-5 years of Medical Assistant experience, ideally in cardiology (EKG experience required)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities:

• Take vital signs, update medications, perform EKGs, phlebotomy
• Assist with patient exams, procedures, lab tests, and medication administration (non-narcotic)
• Coordinate patient care tasks, schedule appointments, and manage follow-ups
• Prepare exam rooms, maintain supplies, and sterilize instruments
• Complete necessary documentation, ensuring HIPAA compliance
• Work collaboratively with patients, families, and medical staff

Skills:

• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Experience with electronic medical records
