Ceded Reinsurance Executive - Hybrid and Remote available

Insurance client with an A++ rating has a need for a Ceded Reinsurance Executive. The Ceded Reinsurance departments mission is to protect the companys surplus through the purchase of reinsurance and provide accurate reporting of liabilities to the reinsurers, broker community, and internal employees.

Role Description: In the role of Vice President, Ceded Reinsurance, you will:

• Be responsible for placement of all reinsurance contracts.
• Be responsible for collecting ceded liability balances, reporting accurate financial statements, following contractual obligations, and ensuring security.
• Be responsible for administering all aspects of ceded reinsurance placement and analysis.
• Supervise the Ceded Reinsurance team and execute the strategy and objectives.
• Actively monitor all Ceded Reinsurance related transactions and provide necessary support to other departments on Ceded Reinsurance issues.
• Establish and maintain relationships with the reinsurance brokerage community.

The ideal candidate will have 10 plus years of experience in commercial casualty reinsurance.

This is a national search and candidates can be hybrid or remote.
