We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Gift Processor in our non-profit organization based in Sacramento, California. The role involves key responsibilities such as managing donor relations, processing donations, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and cultivate relationships with both individual and organizational donors
• Daily accounting and processing of donor gifts into our database
• Prepare and send out donor thank you letters in a timely manner
• Manage the processing of in-kind donations
• Serve as the first and last point of contact for active and potential donors
• Ensure the highest level of customer service is provided to all donors
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail and thorough knowledge about donor protocol and stewardship
• Handle administrative support duties as required
• Engage in special projects related to gift accounting and acknowledgement
• Use accounting software systems and other tools such as ADP
• Financial Services, Computerized Billing, EHR SYSTEM, Epic Software, About Time, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) to perform tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Knowledge and experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with Computerized Billing
• Experience with EHR SYSTEM
• Ability to use Epic Software and About Time
• Understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Experience in a non-profit organization is a plus
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
