Maintenance Technician

Position Overview:

Location: Marietta/ Acworth/ Smyrna, GA

Compensation: $22.00- $24.00

Summary:

Key duties include performing routine maintenance tasks, addressing repair needs, and maintaining a clean and attractive environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to providing a high standard of living for our residents.

What you will be doing:

• Troubleshoots and performs all necessary repairs to properties.
• Completes plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and electrical repairs efficiently.
• Installs new appliances in properties as needed.
• Ensures timely response to resident service orders.
• Assists in maintaining a clean and visually appealing property exterior.
• Complies with all OSHA regulations and health, safety, and environmental laws.
• Communicates effectively with residents and property managers about maintenance concerns or updates.
• Conducts routine inspections to identify potential issues.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

What you will need:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of technical training in a maintenance- related experience.
• Extensive knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems.
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.
• HVAC certification is strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and complete tasks by required deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools.
• Ability to learn and adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.
• Ability to interpret and follow technical manuals and blueprints.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds at a time.
• Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to walk, reach, stretch, stoop, bend, and use hands and fingers.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
