We are in the process of recruiting a Technical Support Specialist to join our team, situated in Washington, District of Columbia. This role is pivotal in our tech industry, providing crucial support to customers and internal resources through various channels.
The Technical Support Specialist will be instrumental in managing and resolving technical issues, offering guidance, and maintaining clear communication with customers.
Responsibilities:- Offer technical support to customers and internal resources via telephone, email, and a ticketing system
- Conduct initial problem-solving to acknowledge and address technical issues with company-specific applications
- Escalate cases as needed to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution
- Provide comprehensive guidance and training to customers on the functionality and use of services and applications provided by the company
- Create, troubleshoot, and manage customer email communications and web-based content, utilizing HTML and various HTML and graphic editors
- Maintain an accurate record of all telephone and email cases in the CRM database
- Keep customers informed about their open tickets and the progress made towards resolution
- Utilize skills in Android development, Cisco technologies, Citrix technologies, Mac computers, Microsoft, Active Directory, Apple devices, computer hardware, configuration management, and deployments to deliver quality service to customers. • Applicant must have at least 2 years of experience as a Technical Support Specialist or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Android Development is required.
- Understanding and experience with Cisco Technologies is essential.
- Knowledge of Citrix Technologies is mandatory.
- Candidate should have experience with Mac Computers.
- Familiarity with Microsoft software and systems is necessary.
- Proficiency in Active Directory is expected.
- Experience with Apple Devices is required.
- Knowledge of Computer Hardware is essential for this role.
- Understanding of Configuration Management is a must.
- Experience with Deployments is highly desirable.
