Position Summary: The Architectural Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and supervising a development project from inception through construction completion. This involves preparing conceptual site plans and building plans, as well as producing Construction Documents and coordinating both in-house and third-party design and engineering groups in the preparation and delivery of CDs.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.)
  • Manage Multiple Projects
  • Preparation of Drawings for various levels of Design as required
  • Lead Weekly Design Calls for each project
  • Collaborate with Development and Construction to coordinate project schedules deliverables
  • Prepare and Communicate Project Objectives
  • QAQC Drawing Review
  • Contribute to and Maintain Design Standards

Knowledge and qualifications required to perform the essential responsibilities of the position:

  • Degree in Architecture or a similar field
  • 8 years min experience
  • Experience in Multi-Family Residential Projects, preferably with LIHTC
  • In Depth Knowledge of Fair Housing and other Accessibility Requirements
  • AutoCAD, Sketchup and/or REVIT abilities

Physical Demands/ Work Environment:

The duties of this position are usually performed in an outdoor setting. The employee may be exposed to fluctuating outdoor temperatures and other weather conditions while moving from one location to another. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, frequently required to stand, walk, sit, or use hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
