job summary: Accounting Manager - $75,000 to $90,000 plus bonus (1 day a week remote)
Great Accounting Manager role reporting to a first class CFO (there is no Controller at this company).
This is a great opportunity for a solid Senior Accountant level professional looking to make the "jump" to a Management position.
After an initial on-boarding period - this position will work four days IN OFFICE (one day remote)

responsibilities:
- Manage the general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions.
- This "hands on" role will manage the month-end / period-end close process and handle financial reporting duties while also leading a team responsible for transactional accounting (AP, AR, collections, payroll).
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to streamline operations.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Prior supervisory experience is preferred but NOT required.
