Claims Assistant

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Claims Assistant in Overland Park, Kansas. As a Claims Assistant, you will be primarily responsible for customer service and claims processing functions. This role will require you to manage customer interactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure efficient operations.
Responsibilities:- Assisting with the registration of new claims
- Handling incoming customer service calls
- Verifying the accuracy of loss information and updating it in the system
- Supporting claim representatives and team leaders with file updates
- Recording loss payments in the system
- Delivering exceptional customer service to agents, insured clients, and other customers
- Preparing all necessary loss registration forms
- Leveraging strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks
- Demonstrating proficiency in computer systems and data entry
- Working collaboratively within a team environment. • Proficiency in Customer Service, with a proven record of managing customer expectations and providing satisfactory solutions
- Strong skills in Data Entry, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in capturing and processing information
- Experience in Reporting, able to create, maintain, and analyze reports concerning operations and performance
- Knowledge of Operations, with a focus on streamlining processes for optimal efficiency
- Experience in Answering Inbound Calls, demonstrating excellent telephone etiquette and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Payment Processing, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all transactions
- Experience in Supervising, showcasing leadership and team management capabilities
- Familiarity with the software 'About Time', showing adaptability to new technologies and systems
- Expertise in Claim Administration, understanding all aspects of claim handling and management
- Excellent Communication Skills, both oral and written, to effectively convey information and instructions
- Proficiency in using Windows OS, demonstrating adaptability to various computer systems
- Solid Computer System Proficiency, able to use various software applications and digital tools effectively
- Availability for Onsite work, displaying flexibility and commitment to the role
- Experience in dealing with External Customers, demonstrating professionalism and customer-oriented approach
- Strong Written Communication skills, capable of drafting clear and concise correspondences
- Proficient Keyboard Skills, ensuring fast and accurate data entry
- Experience in Claims Processing, demonstrating understanding of insurance claims handling procedures
- Familiarity with Insureds, understanding the needs and concerns of policyholders
- Experience in handling Registration Forms, showing attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Chubb insurance products and services, demonstrating industry awareness
- Strong Organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
