KP659 - Night Newborn Care Specialist - Brooklyn Heights

Overview:

A newborn care specialist is sought for first-time parents in Brooklyn Heights, whose baby is due June 7, 2025. The schedule will be 10-12 hours per night, 6-7 days per week for a period of 2-3 months (the family will guarantee 6 nights per week for a minimum of 8 weeks).

Responsibilities:

• Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the baby at all times
• Establishing a sleep schedule that the parents can follow once the newborn care specialist leaves
• Be willing to travel with the family on occasion, if required
• Provide professional, evidence-based guidance as it pertains to baby’s care, while respecting the family’s personal preferences

Qualifications:

• Must ideally have at least 5 years' verifiable experience working as a newborn care specialist
• Candidates should be warm, collaborative and supportive
• Candidates should be seasoned in sleep training and preferably have baby on a reliable/ consistent sleep schedule before they leave

Requirements:

• US passport, Green Card or EAC
• COVID vaccinated and up to date on Flu/RSV/Tdap and MMR vaccinations
• Passport ready and willing to travel domestically and internationally, if required
• Available to commit to the full contract term of at least 2 months

Salary and Benefits:
