Supervising Procurement Analyst

Responsibilities:

The primary purpose of the Supervising Procurement Analyst position is to be responsible for the daily procurement of medical-surgical supplies/equipment in the most cost effective manner to support University Hospital patient care needs. This position will supervise staff to support these two (2) primary functions and will also oversee the hospital materials management inventory system to ensure adequate medical/surgical supply levels at all times.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree required. One (1) year of experience in supervisor or lead capacity preferred. Experience in Materials Management, purchase of commodities, materials, equipment and supplies preferred. Applicants must be familiar with Purchasing Systems such as Marketplace.

Knowledge of Banner is a plus. Microsoft Office Suite knowledge required. Applicants should have familiarity with project management. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. Additional related experience may be substituted for the degree on a year-for-year basis.
