Job Description
  • Plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee project activities to ensure objectives are met within the specified timeline and budget.
  • Review product designs to ensure alignment with engineering principles, company standards, contract requirements, and related drawings and specifications.
  • Occasional travel and preconstruction experience are required.
  • Analyze project specifications to develop construction procedures, including timelines and staffing requirements for each project phase.
  • Prepare and approve job forecasts to support project financial planning.
  • Ensure contractor and subcontractor compliance with project specifications and requirements.
  • Evaluate proposals and contracts for adherence to client expectations and company policies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Oversee job profitability, project initiation, budget tracking, and schedule updates to ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage owner billings and collaborate with accounting, ensuring accurate and timely monthly cash flow reporting.

The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture is required.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with wood frame ground-up multifamily projects is essential.
  • Expertise in garden-style construction is required.
  • Strong background in pre-construction tasks such as planning, design review, constructability analysis, value engineering, scheduling, and conceptual estimating.
  • Must have excellent client-facing skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities are essential.
