Position Summary

The Data Pipeline Engineer will have a pivotal role in ensuring the speed and stability of our data delivery framework. From using enterprise grade replication tools like Oracle Goldengate and Qlik Replicate to Saa S pipeline tools like Airbyte and DBT you will be at the forefront of data delivery across platforms.
These platforms can range from relational databases to hosted CRM solutions or application log files. You will also make use of your SQL and/or Python skills to solve problems where a purchased solution may not be ideal, such as quality control reporting, this is a place to exercise your creativity in solutioning.

The Product Infrastructure team has a broad responsibility that covers most technology investments. This ranges from Data Centers, switches, and Servers to Database Administration, Information Management, and compliance, so joining us will allow you to learn from industry experts across the IT spectrum.

  • Salary range: $80,000 - $90000

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Data Engineering / Modeling
  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL), and Change Data Capture (CDC) Replication tools and processes to ensure efficient and accurate data flow across systems
  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop and maintain data models that support analysis and reporting across the organization
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data as required
  • Develop scripts to automate data processing and analytic tasks, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness
  • Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver high-quality solutions
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of data processes, models, and systems
  • Data Quality
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data through validation, monitoring, and troubleshooting processes
  • Connect with data stakeholders to understand company reporting initiatives, helping to translate them into actionable projects
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving data engineering practices and processes within the team
  • Staying current with industry best practices and tools, continually improving data pipelines and analytics workflows
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science or a related field
  • Proficient in SQL and experience with relational and non-relational database query techniques
  • Experience a relational database solution (e.g., Snowflake, Oracle, MSSql, My SQL)
  • Familiar with data modeling tools and practices.
  • Experience working with server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux)
  • Familiar with database replication tools or techniques
  • Familiar with or desire to learn about data infrastructure technologies such as Scripting, JBDC, ODBC, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in agile data teams.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues effectively in both team-based and individual settings
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Capable of supporting various data engineering, modeling, architecture, and reporting tasks
  • Eager to grow their skills and contribute to a quickly growing business
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, contributing to shared goals
