Job Description:

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will provide compassionate and high-quality care in an Assisted Living setting. The CMA will support residents with daily medical and personal care needs while assisting healthcare professionals in delivering essential services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including mobility, hygiene, and meal support.
• Take and document vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Assist with medication administration under supervision (as per state regulations).
• Maintain accurate patient records and report changes in residents' conditions.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with minor procedures if needed.
• Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Active CMA certification (state or nationally recognized).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Assisted Living, Long Term Care, or similar settings.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
• Ability to work a variable schedule (evenings/days) as assigned.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach.
