Position Summary:

Currently the schedule needs for this role are Thursday thru Monday and shifts time will vary between 9am and 9pm depending on the day.

Days off will be Tuesday and Wednesday.

Hourly wage of $19.50/hr

This position is great for someone who has wants to deep-dive into the Hospitality Industry, using their skills to create menus plans, learning to create menu, order products and evolve their leadership skills to manage a venue and team.

This position will remain open until Oct 1, 2024

About the Venue:

Food and Beverage Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the serving of guests in the venue dining areas catering functions.

Must be personable and able to work in an ever- changing fast-paced environment.

The Food and Beverage Team Lead will work along side the Food and Beverage Managers with projects including inventory and special events.

Team Lead must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work independently and stay on task.

Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to work in a Leadership capacity in a high volume fast-paced restaurant or catering environment.
  • Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
  • Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation and product inventory.
  • Be able to identify ingredients or explains how various items on the menu are prepared.
  • Responsible for overseeing the serving of meals to guests.
  • Will work along side Manager for creating menu plans, order product and putting away deliveries.
  • Responsible for the supervisor of others and assign duties to team members and verify they are completed
  • Assures that the location equipment is operable and clean prior to start of event.
  • Assists in setting up catering functions food prep and delivery.
  • Responsible for observing guests to respond to any additional requests.
  • Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.

Qualifications:

  • Capable of operating in Microsoft Office applications including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers,management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Abiltiy to lift and move 25lbs
  • Due to location and job duties-Must have their own reliable vehicle
  • Possess valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.
