We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client based in Dunwoody, Georgia on a hybrid basis. In this role, you will be handling complex invoices, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer inquiries.
Additionally, you will be liaising with various teams to ensure correct account coding and timely payments. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Handle and process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of customer credit
- Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
- Ensure correct account coding by liaising with the transport team
- Upload account coding information accurately
- Manage complex invoices, including those with circuits
- Utilize accounting software systems, such as NetSuite and ADP - Financial Services, for various accounting functions
- Proficiency in Account Coding is required.
- Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is essential.
- Experience with ADP - Financial Services is desired.
- Skill in using Concur is a must.
- Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is needed.
- Ability to perform Accounting Functions is crucial.
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) operations is mandatory.
- Experience in Accrual Accounting is necessary.
- Auditing skills are a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) is beneficial.
- Proficiency in using NetSuite is highly desirable.
