We have an opening at our beautiful PCHC Chafee Health Center – natural light and lovely plants are only two of the reasons this modern facility attracts so many patients from all communities in the city of Providence. In addition, PCHC Chafee Health Center has an amazing team of clinicians and staff who work collaboratively to care for patients.The team at PCHC Chafee love great food and enjoy celebrating each other’s successes together often. We have a new opening for a Family Physician to join this dynamic team!
A rewarding opportunity to bring quality care to an underserved population in Providence:
- Practice is weekday outpatient primary care – 4 days in clinic; 1 admin day remote
- Collaborate with a terrific team of physicians from all specialties, integrated behavioral health clinicians, community health advocates, nurse practitioners, nurse case managers, and medical leadership.
- Lead your team – a dedicated RN and Medical Assistant – to provide quality care regardless of the patient’s ability to pay.
- Build a panel to meet your clinical interests.
- Enhance your cultural competency working with our diverse multi-cultural patient population.
- PCHC has 650 employees caring for 80,000 patients at our nine neighborhood-based clinics in Providence.
- Our physicians find Rhode Island an amazing place to call home – from ocean beaches to farmers' markets, college towns to rural communities, and outdoor activities to a thriving arts and restaurant community.
- Location! One hour to Boston. Nearby CT and the mountains in NH, VT and ME. Only three hours to NYC.
Qualifications and Skills: Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine with experience and interest in community health and patient-centered care; Licensed/eligible in Rhode Island; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Multi-lingual highly valued.
