Physician Assistant – Cardiothoracic Surgery (High Pay Range)

Qualifications:

• NYS licensed/registered and NCCPA certified (or eligible) Physician Assistant.
• Must have NPI number and be Medicare enrolled or eligible within six months of hire.
• CPR, ACLS, and BLS certification required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery or critical care.

Duties:

• Assists in complex cardiac and thoracic surgeries, including CABG and valve replacements.
• Manages pre- and post-operative cardiac patients in ICU settings.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and angiograms.
• Performs invasive procedures including chest tube placements and arterial line insertions.
• Collaborates with cardiologists and intensivists to optimize patient outcomes.

Pay: High weekly pay range: $3,500 - $4,500 per week
