Cloud Software Engineer
Overview:
BigBear.ai is seeking a Software Engineer to work with a product team to develop, deploy, maintain, and add functionality to cloud-based applications. This position is at a customer site based out of the Fort Meade area.
What you will do:
- Develop cloud-based solutions
- Deploy massively parallel distributed applications
- Contribute to customer’s cutting-edge technologies to advance mission
What you need to have:
- Candidate must of a TS/SCI clearance with FSP.
- Fourteen (14) years' experience as a software engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity required. Four (4) years of additional software engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Experience developing in Rust, C++, or Python. Experience with open-source applications designed to deploy, scale, and maintain massively parallel distributed applications. Examples include OpenStack, Kubernetes, and Hadoop.
- Experience with cloud-native applications. Experience with AWS or similar cloud service provider interfaces and tools.
What we'd like you to have:
- Experience developing in Rust. Proficiency in Linux. Cloud certification.
