Responsibilities:
Leadership is the key to success with this position. You will be responsible for managing overall food and beverage outlet operations with passion, integrity and knowledge while promoting culture and values of the Company. As a Restaurant Manager you will hold daily meetings with staff members.You will manage all employment aspects: interviewing and hiring; training; scheduling and coordinating work assignments; evaluating performance; coaching and disciplining staff; and coordinating exit process. This position also includes being highly involved in working hands-on in restaurant operations including directly assisting staff, monitoring guest service, safety, cleanliness standards, special events.
Qualifications:
Having a Bachelors Degree is a plus but not required, though a High School Diploma or GED is necessary. (Or any combination of academic education, professional training or work experience, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position)
You will need at least 3 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager, preferably in a fine or upscale dining facility or resort environment. This position requires an overall understanding of menu creation, food, beverage, and labor cost controls.To be successful in this role, excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential. You will need to be proficient in all Microsoft office suite applications. A flexible work schedule is a must.
