Network Engineer/Manager - 61695
We have an immediate 6 month contract opportunity with one of our prime clients for a position Network Engineer/Manager to work in Fort Lauderdale, FL on a hybrid basis with 3 days a week on-site.
Pay Rate: $40-$45/hr
Mandatory Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
5 years of experience in project management for IP service providers, preferably related to IPTV, IP Video, or DOCSIS projects, with demonstrated success in project management roles.
Proficient in PMBOK standards and processes (PMP certification required).
Strong MS Office skills, including MS Project.
Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables), JIRA, MS Visio, SolarWinds, AutoCAD, etc.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job Description
What You Will Be Doing
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, implementation, and daily tracking of multiple projects within Hotwire's Engineering department to ensure expected business outcomes. This role champions change management discipline, generates and maintains
project documentation and provides weekly and monthly KPI reports on engineering project status.

Successfully manage all phases of a project, from initiation to closing.
Coordinate multiple project timelines and resources.
Create and maintain standard project documentation and deliverables, including accurate meeting minutes.
Hold weekly status meetings and update project tracking documents.
Generate weekly and monthly engineering project reports and network performance KPI tracking.
Preferred:
Engineering background.
Data analysis experience.
Proven ability to work under pressure.
Strong documentation authoring skills.
Non-Technical Key Competencies:
Define project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress.
Align project objectives with company goals, ensuring the project team is clear on objectives.
Chair weekly discussions with all stakeholders.
Manage risk tracking processes.
Monitor and manage scope as well as all project documentation
Work multiple projects simultaneously
Foster partnership with customers/stakeholders/sponsors
Technical Competencies
Ability to follow and enhance existing IT policies and procedure
Basic understanding of the TCP/IP suite
Must be able to interact with management, vendors and external parties and should be able to effectively communicate technical issues in a clear and concise manner
