Hollywood - Part Time Bookkeeper

We are seeking an adept Part Time Bookkeeper to join our team based in Hollywood, Florida. This role involves handling the financial records of our company, ensuring the accuracy of our accounts, and dealing with customer inquiries. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity and allows for remote work.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and efficient processing of orders, with no more than 10 orders per day
• Ensure prompt data entry and maintenance of customer accounts
• Handle customer inquiries and provide resolutions
• Oversee the fulfillment of orders, ensuring that orders placed by 9 am are delivered the next day, and orders for next-day delivery are closed by 3/5 pm the previous night
• Manage and process payments, ensuring that invoices are sent out and payments are processed
• Perform account reconciliation and maintain accurate financial records
• Conduct month-end close procedures and bank reconciliations
• Oversee the operations of Shopify/Retool order management
• Keep track of accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure checks are cut and posted in a timely manner.
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) management is required
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) handling is vital
• Proven ability to perform Bank Reconciliations
• Prior experience in Bookkeeping is necessary
• Proficiency in Data Entry tasks
• Expertise in using Microsoft Excel is crucial
• Experience in Month End Close activities is needed
• Ability to execute Check Runs efficiently
• Experience in Posting Payments accurately
• Proficiency in Order Entry tasks
• Familiarity with Shopify platform is a plus
