Back End Developer - San Jose

This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity in the Communications industry.

Responsibilities:

• Developing production-grade applications for deployment on Google Compute Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure.
• Writing code in Python and Java for various applications. (Python is the preference)
• Engaging in the development of cloud IVR applications using platforms such as Twilio, Pexip, Asterisk, or Amazon connect.
• Handling tasks related to Audio streaming apps, Speech and IVR systems.
• Leveraging your bilingual capabilities, if any, to enhance the functionality of our products.
• Ensuring excellent written and verbal communication throughout project development.
• Proficiency in Python programming language is necessary.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java and Java is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure is a must.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is expected.
• Prior experience in a similar role within the Communications industry is essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically.
• Solid understanding of data structures, system design, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to debug code.
• Proactive and able to take on new challenges.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
• Familiar with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
