Responsibilities:
The Material Handler is responsible for the movement of material throughout the facility.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Execute material picks to Bill of Materials described by Production Orders.
- Responsible for delivering all kitted Work Orders to the appropriate work center as defined by the routing in a timely manner.
- Perform inventory counts / cycle counts and report results to management, assist with Inventory Optimization efforts, and reorganize material storage locations and methods,
- Assist in resolving material discrepancies on Work Orders as needed.
- Responsible for clear and professional communication
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of inventory controls and cycle count.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of general warehouse procedures.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of three years of experience in related work activities preferred.
