We are in search of a Director of Human Resources to join our team in Hartford, Connecticut. The role primarily involves managing and overseeing HR operations in our organization, including employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and compensation.

This role is critical to ensuring efficient HR processes and building a positive work environment for all employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of human resources, including employee relations, compliance, benefits, and compensation administration.
  • Utilize HRMS and ADP Workforce Now to streamline HR operations and maintain accurate records.
  • Implement and manage ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode to enhance recruitment and selection processes.
  • Leverage ADP - Financial Services for efficient payroll management and financial reporting.
  • Use Ceridian software to manage employee data and HR processes.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations to prevent legal issues and promote a fair work environment.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
  • Proficiency in ADP
  • Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
  • Experience with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
  • Familiarity with Ceridian and HRMS systems
  • Knowledge of About Time software
  • Ability to handle Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration
  • Strong understanding of Compliance requirements in HR
  • Excellent skills in Employee Relations management
  • Experience in senior HR roles, preferably as a Director or equivalent
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligning with business objectives.
