Quality Improvement Specialist

General Job Summary:

Provides assistance to the Quality department by creating and revising documentation, compiling and reporting data, and completing part inspections.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:-

Extract data from various systems to produce reports and metrics-

Create and revise inspection documentation-

Assist in generating balloon prints, FAIR templates, and NCMRs-

Scan documents for storage electronically on the network-

Help Quality Engineers prepare documentation-

Document processes and procedures for Quality department tasks-

Support the QC lab with part inspections-

Coordinate the calibration schedule-

Assist with edits to work instructions-

Perform other duties assigned by supervisor/manager

Education/Experience:-

High School Diploma or GED-

2 years related experience in manufacturing-

Knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Internet Browser-

Ability to read and interpret blueprints preferred-

Ability to read and write reports and correspondence-

Ability to work with numbers-

Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 lbs.
