Accounts Payable Specialist

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity in the hospitality industry for an Accounts Payable Specialist. The role is based in BLUE BELL, Pennsylvania, United States, where the successful candidate will be expected to work three days in the office and two remotely.

• Accurate processing and coding of customer invoices.
• Efficient handling of vendor maintenance and set up.
• Conducting regular inventory reconciliations.
• Ensuring accurate account coding across all business functions.
• Assisting with financial processes as required.
• Regularly running reports for various accounting functions.
• Handling opening and closing of purchase orders.
• Ensuring accurate monthly accruals are recorded.
• Utilizing various accounting software systems for efficient work processes.
• Demonstrating attention to detail in all tasks.
• Proficiency in account coding for accurate financial record keeping and reporting.
• Familiarity with various accounting software systems to streamline accounting processes.
• Experience with ADP Financial Services for payroll and other financial solutions.
• Skilled in using Concur for travel and expense management.
• Ability to handle diverse accounting functions to ensure the smooth operation of the finance department.
• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) duties including bill payments, reconciliations, and vendor communication.
• Understanding of accrual accounting principles for appropriate recording of revenues and expenses.
• Experience in auditing for ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial transactions.
• Ability to process transactions for electronic payments and collections.
