Outside Sales Representative - Long Island, NY & 5 boroughs
Admiral Metals is currently seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative with metals
sales experience to support and grow our Long Island, NY & 5 boroughs territory.
The successful candidate will have at least 5+ years of proven sales success in metal sales. AnAdmiral Metals Outside Sales Representative is responsible for meeting or exceeding company
sales and profitability goals by providing the highest level of professional sales support to our
existing base of customers while generating additional sales revenue through prospecting and
new account development.
Responsibilities Include: Achieving or exceeding sales and profit goals while providing the highest level of
professional sales and service to support new and existing Admiral Metals customers.
Working closely with our highly effective Inside Sales Team and Regional SalesManagement to coordinate sales activity, follow up on quotes, develop and follow up on
leads and close sales while building strong, lasting relationships with our valued
customers.
Arrange an effective time and territory management plan that maximizes sales efficiencyand allows the proper balance of sales calls on existing accounts, target accounts, new
accounts and business development prospects within the defined sales territory.
Contribute information to the sales and marketing strategy by communicating customerneeds, market opportunities and competitive information to Regional and Corporate
Sales Management.
Participate in training & development opportunities in order to continually improve, upgrade performance, experience career development and advancement and make
efficient use of available and evolving systems and technology while developing as anAdmiral Metals Sales Professional.

customers by providing sales and service support in the field with the highest level of

Requirement and Qualifications:College degree or work experience preferred. Previous outside sales experience in the metals industry strongly preferred. Valid driver's license and the ability to perform the necessary duties of an Outside Sales Representative.
