Job Description

As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll play a key role in project delivery and team success by:

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning & Documentation: Assist in defining project scope, preparing contracts, permits, and compliance records.
  • Budget Management: Help create and manage project budgets while monitoring expenses.
  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to meet timelines efficiently.
  • Scheduling: Assist in developing and adjusting project schedules to stay on track.
  • Subcontractor Coordination: Manage subcontractor communication, contracts, and performance.
  • Quality & Safety Oversight: Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Client Communication: Provide regular updates and address client inquiries professionally.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve project challenges.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain organized records and assist in reporting project

The Successful Applicant

The successful Assistant Project Manager - Top Regional GC - Columbia should have the following qualifications:

  • Education: BS in Construction Management or a related field (preferred).
