Job Summary

A Phone Sales Representative drives the company to find new customers, retain current customers, and develop innovative solutions for bettering the service. As an inside sales representative, you will play a crucial role in establishing relationships and communicating the company's brand in a way that is positive, honest, and professional.
The work you do on the phone is directly linked to successful outcomes resulting from customer retention and word-of-mouth sales. Job Responsibilities
  • Follow an outlined script and advertise services via phone to interested consumers in a manner that is professional and honest.

  • Work with your team members to facilitate calls, manage work flow, and minimize hold times throughout the sales process.
  • Facilitate the entire sales process from the initiation of the original call through finalization of account set-up for each customer you speak with.
  • Research and understand the service line and be familiar with each service/membership function and purpose, so you can confidently upsell our customers to compatible services.
  • Maintain an organized workspace and properly file documents, updates, and product information so it is readily accessible for reference and to answer questions.
  • Listen attentively to client questions and provide answers that are knowledgeable and insightful to encourage product sale.
  • Showcase the company's strengths and highlight the brand by talking exclusively about the characteristics that make the service unique.
  • Participate in weekly meetings to discuss benchmarks and personal as well as team goals for the upcoming week.

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required
  • High school diploma
  • Out-bound / In-bound Sales Experience is a must
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Energetic and great phone personality
  • Superior listening skills
Preferred
  • Experience in customer service, phone sales, and/or retention
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with CRM sales
Industry, Compensation and Job Schedule
  • Industry: Sales Rep position is in the Matchmaking industry selling membership packages –Warm and hot leads provided
  • Compensation: $24.03 hourly rate after training + Uncapped Commissions; $10,000 first year bonus (Paid at $5K at 6 months of service and $5K at 1 year of service)
  • Job Schedule: Our official hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday-Friday; and approximately 4 Saturdays a year (office hours may be adjusted to accommodate business need at the discretion of leadership).
