Accounts Payable Clerk

We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance sector based in ROCHESTER, New York. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity and involves processing and reconciling account information, handling invoice coding, and ensuring efficient data entry.

• Accurately processing invoice data for payments
• Conducting account reconciliation to ensure accurate record-keeping
• Efficiently handling check runs to manage outgoing payments
• Coding invoices effectively to maintain proper account classification
• Ensuring accurate and timely data entry for all relevant account information
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Quickbooks Online for various tasks
• Monitoring and maintaining accounts payable records
• Resolving inquiries related to accounts payable with promptness and accuracy. • Proven experience in the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industry is preferred.
• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, with a strong understanding of its principles and execution.
• Solid experience with Accounts Payable (AP), including managing supplier invoices and payments.
• Demonstrated ability to perform Check Runs accurately and within set timelines.
• Experienced in Coding Invoices, ensuring proper categorization for all transactions.
• Excellent Data Entry skills, with a focus on accuracy and speed.
• Proficient in Invoice Processing, with the ability to handle high volumes of invoices.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and charts.
• Knowledge of Oracle financial software, with the ability to navigate and use the system effectively.
• Experience with QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online, including setup, navigation, and reporting.
• Familiarity with SAP software, particularly in relation to accounts payable processes.
