Robert Half is urgently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for an expense reimbursement project with our client in Chula Vista. This role necessitates a diligent and detail-oriented professional who possesses excellent organizational skills and is highly adaptable to a fast-paced environment.

This is an immediate contract accounts payable opportunity to support a busy education organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the reimbursement process, purchase orders, vendor communication, and high-volume accounts payable.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Processing expense reimbursements for company employees efficiently and accurately.
• Managing and verifying outgoing payments, reviewing invoices, and checking reports.
• Supporting the finance team in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Working on other specific accounts payable projects as required.
• Maintaining confidentiality of organizational and financial information.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience in Accounts Payable and expense reimbursement is highly preferable.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Acute attention to detail and ability to identify errors or discrepancies.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work independently.
