Overview:
East West Bank is seeking a Corporate Security Specialist I. The Corporate Security specialist assists the Physical Security Manager in maintaining bank wide alarm, access control and surveillance systems. This person is responsible for the day to day administrative and coordination activities of the Corporate Security Department and also works to support the efforts of the General Services Departments.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with management and operations of centralized access controls and ID card system to ensure standardized method of restricting facilities access by authorized personnel.
- Conduct central alarm monitoring station operations, including general alarm and video monitoring and testing, retrieval of security footage and coordinating with contracted security officers
- Manage all Corporate Security service requests through on line work order system.
- Assist with management of all vendor COI’s, work orders, preventative maintenances and regularly scheduled services as well as the processing of external and internal invoices
- Maintains the Corporate Security report filing system.
- Receives and validates security related forms from branches.
- Maintains and edits the Corporate Security Intranet site when needed.
- Answers and Conducts security related calls
- Execute general duties to include travel arrangements, coordinates special projects, assist with confidential matters and perform research of special projects as assigned.
- Independently prepare, spreadsheets, documents and reports as needed.
- Work with Investigators or Physical security Lead. Maintain confidentiality, discretion and diplomacy in handling any and all Security Information or Office related projects, case management system.
- Partner with other departments to serve as backup in managing process and guidelines for employee access control, parking, photo badging, and maintain relationships with physical/electronic security providers, and guard companies.
- Other Projects as assigned. Flexibility and entrepreneurial willingness to perform ad-hoc projects/assignments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational, interpersonal communications, customer service, decision making, problem solving and multitasking skills are required
- Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision, willingness to ask questions and provide regular status updates
- Knowledge in computer application experience including Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook required.
- Two Year Degree or 3 years Administrative or equivalent Security Support Experience.
- Office management experience preferred.
- Valid Driver's License
The base pay range for this position is USD $24.00/Hr. - USD $35.00/Hr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
