Our team, Off-Search Sourcing and Relevance, has a mission to deliver relevant and useful shopping experience at non-Search pages at Amazon.com. We innovate technology solutions, develop cutting-edge machine learning models that incorporate deep product and shopper understanding, and conduct A/B tests to ensure that we identify all useful and relevant advertisements and provide them to downstream systems for click through prediction and ad auction.
We looking for a Software Engineer with Machine Learning knowledge. As an engineer on the team, you will drive major product and engineering initiatives, build large-scale, low-latency distributed systems, build ML infrastructure and data processing pipelines.You will work with Product Managers and Scientists to solve complex problems at Amazon-scale, bringing your engineering skills together to launch solutions that will have direct customer impact.
Key job responsibilities- Designing, coding, troubleshooting, and supporting data pipelines and online ad serving systems. Continuously work to understand our customers and our business
- Architect and design ad serving systems that solve real-world customer use cases
- Integrate your solutions with high volume and low latency distributed systems
- Measure the impact and customer response to your solutions through rapid experimentation- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics or natural language processing

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Amazon is a total compensation company.
