Operations Supervisor
The supervisor must have adequate experience as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This position also requires mastery of organizing, planning, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:Supervise administrative clerk and receptionist engaged in record keeping & filing, operating telephones & emails, data entry, and other general office tasks.
Develop work schedules, procedures and coordinate activities with other departments.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving complaints, addressing service issues promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Report received complaints to the Director weekly.
Train staff on job responsibilities, safety protocols, and company policies.
Create and submit purchase orders based on inventory levels, menu requirements, and budget constraints.
Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels to ensure the restaurant operates smoothly without overstocking or shortages.
Coordinate maintenance and repairs of restaurant equipment and facilities. Ensure all equipment is in good working condition to support efficient operations.
Assist in managing operational budgets, including labour costs and inventory expenses. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or service.
Ensure that all food- and beverage-handling comply with health and safety regulations and restaurant policies.
Prepare operational reports on key metrics such as sales trends, labour costs, and inventory turnover.
Job Requirements: A bachelors degree is required; At least two years of experience in office administration in a managerial position.
Skills Requirements:Proficient in computer skills, including advanced level of Microsoft Office, and be able to learn additional software programs quickly; Persuasive communication and interpersonal skills; Masterful skills in organization and leadership; Must be able to multi-task, stay organized, prioritize, and meet deadlines; Demonstrated initiative to analyze and resolve problems quickly and efficiently; Excellent English reading, written and verbal skills.

Terms of EmploymentPermanent, full-time, 30 hours per week
Wage$32 to $38 per hour, overtime rate will be applied if working over 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week.
