Job Title: Bilingual Human Resources Generalist (Spanish/English)
Job Description:
We are recruiting for a Bilingual Human Resources Generalist who is fluent in both English and Spanish to join the Human Resources team of a respected client of ours. This position will play a critical role in recruiting, employee relationships, and the development and implementation of HR policies and programs.
Responsibilities:
- Administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
- Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
- Assist in the implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
- Conduct recruitment efforts for all exempt and non-exempt personnel, interns, and temporary employees; conduct new employee orientations; monitor career path program; and write and place job advertisements.
- Handle employee relations counseling and conduct exit interviews.
- Maintain company organization charts and employee directory.
- Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of the department in relation to established goals.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
- Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve the efficiency of the department.
- Communicate effectively with all staff in both English and Spanish.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree only preferred
- 2+ years of experience in human resources, touching on multiple aspects of HR
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Knowledge of HR processes and best practices
- Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Strong understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRIS
- Strong ethics and reliability
- Proven experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an HR Manager or similar role
- Fluency in the Spanish language
- Strong understanding of Hiring Processes and Compliance regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional ability to manage Employee Relations
- Proficiency in Benefit Functions
- Knowledge of HR laws and regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Proficient with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent leadership and decision-making abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and integrity.
