Our client, a reputable organization in the Government/Non-Profit sector, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their finance team. Position Overview: The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and supporting the organization's financial goals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with [governmental/non-profit] accounting standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on government or non-profit sectors
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Dynamics Great Plains) and strong Excel skills
  • Knowledge of GAAP and/or GASB standards and regulatory compliance in government/non-profit accounting Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
