What You'll Do

As a Senior Cost Analyst, you will play a vital role in shaping the success of our government programs. Your responsibilities will include:

Leading and managing program office estimate activities.

Developing and applying innovative mathematical and logical methodologies to estimate program costs.

Creating, updating, and managing cost and affordability models.

Collecting, normalizing, and analyzing complex data.

Advocating for budget requirements.

Forecasting future funding needs.

Evaluating contracting strategies and courses of action.

Planning for the acquisition of capabilities.

Identifying sustainment cost impacts of acquisition decisions.

Managing solution delivery to a set schedule.

Providing clear, concise briefings to executive and oversight management on program/project funding requirements.

Collaborating with diverse organizations and representatives for data collection, analysis, and results presentation.

Offering thought leadership, demonstrating an understanding of customer missions and providing innovative solutions to address their challenges.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or Mathematics.

8+ years of experience in cost estimating, preferably in the Department of Defense (DoD).

Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCEA).

ACAT I - IV experience.

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Familiarity with uncertainty/risk software packages like Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT), Crystal Ball, or SEER for IT.

Strong multitasking and detail-oriented skills.

Experience presenting analytical results to senior leaders and stakeholders.

Proficiency in working with large data sets.

Excellent data gathering and analytical skills.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

U.S. citizenship required.
