Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting for a property portfolio, month-end closing, and cash/balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure transactions meet GAAP standards; oversee acquisitions and dispositions accounting
• Prepare lender compliance packages, tax filings, and property-level budget forecasting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage third-party operators
• Mentor team members and conduct training on accounting best practices
• 7+ years in accounting (private equity, real estate)
• CPA preferred
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in commercial real estate investment accounting
• Proficiency in MRI, Nexus, Yardi, AVID, or similar ERP/AP systems a plus
• Tech-savvy, with a proactive approach to using AI in accounting
• Must live in the Bay Area - be able to commute 3x a week to SF office
